I thought about 2 ways to make it harder: - edit save file to make day and summer default - edit game files and make long day and long summer same as defaultCan you help me?PS. Pyromailmann Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 My problem in DST is that Summer either feels too long or too short.20 Days in is short.45 Days in too long.30-35 Days of Summer would be fine.So what I'd want is to be able to tweak the days of each season by intervals of 5.So the shortest is no season (0 days) the longest should be about 50 days.But onto what you said.As much as those would be nice, it'd be hard for the game to do that as that save knows it's times and messing with it I think will probably screw with the clock. As for seasons. It's probably more complicated. You see, seasons don't have set days, so you can make winter into summer and vise versa, meaning you can make winter into summer (which we'd need to drag Rezecib in here for since he's the DS console wiz). It's always so short! I would want things to last and have every season last 90 days and each day to last 24 minutes instead of 8 so I get the full experience and can get a lot more done. That way it would kind of relate to irl time, with the exceptions of seasons not actually being all 90 days long and 1 minute would be the equivalent of 1 hour of Don't Starve. It will definitely not show up when you go to look at the world settings, though, that's in the saveindex and I don't know how to tinker with that.
