Can you try verifying the integrity of your game cache in case you have a corrupted install? XaiGuy Posted February 14, 2015 Share Posted February 14, 2015 My friend is having the exact same issue and error code as the person above. Their steam news feed only shows tuesdays update, even though it says they have the same version as me. Again, exact same error code as the person above. They can't enter any servers but can create one just fine. But no one can join the one they created. Developer bizziboi Posted February 15, 2015 Developer Share Posted February 15, 2015 Your friend could try running the game with another location for persistent storage: - Right-click the game name in your steam library.- Select 'properties'- Click 'launch options'- Enter '-persistent_storage_root c:\DoNotStarve' (without the quotes)- Click Okay.- Click Close. Try launching the game and see if it helps.
