Bael Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 This is quite a short story, relating an incident between myself and another (newly logged) player. Myself and another player created an advanced base (max tech for DST) and had it running nicely, We then logged off for a while. I came back about 2 & a half hours later to find that two people were in it, and over the next short while it gathered a total of six (especially as winter was coming and player icons were on). So, any base overrun by new players is annoying, but at least they were not destructive. After a short time, most had left the base or died, from one cause or another (cold, hunger, insanity, pigs beating down the spider characters). There was just one player left, who arrived after most had departed, and I commented "I'm so glad that the hordes have finally gone", to which they whispered "You're never getting rid of me". Presto! No sooner had the words been typed, than I whipped out my telelocator and zapped them with it! To which they replied: Ok, so you got rid of me! How did you do it? They then proceeded to die multiple times from various causes (mostly freezing and dark in Wilderness winter). I'm a bad person...
