Can't delete items

Hey guys !

 

I'm playing at DST on my dedicated server and in order to avoid map reset, I revived myself coz I made a crappy mistake x)

 

Therefore, I looted some items before dying, but I consider that's kinda unfair to keep those items or use them (Walrus tusk, honeycomb, blue gem and stingers), so I tried to delete them using "TheInput:GetWorldEntityUnderMouse():Remove()" command, but it does not work (also tried using ctrl).

 

Is there any way I can get this command to work ?

 

My mouse was on the items I wanted to delete (in inventory and on the ground), and i'm running as an admin...

Your mouse has to be over the icon and hitbox of the item.

So before you put in the command, you should make sure your mouse is hovering over it.

Well, i'm sure of that, had the "pick Walrus Tusk" text before opening console, and I didn't move my mouse when I wrote that command :'(

Maybe that matter is related to dedicated server (hosted from a different location)...

I'm gonna try an alternative way to destroy those items (get them eaten by a bulb might work) when i'll be back, but that looks like a bug to me ^^

@n0wt, My guess is that you had a typo, because it should have a visible effect either locally (deleting the replica) or remote (deleting the actual item). I use this command nearly every time I'm testing, which is often, although I have it wrapped up in a shorter function (c_mouse():Remove()). I remember the last dedicated server I used it on also getting the mouse position correctly when I used remote commands.
