InstaPwn Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I have been playing for the last few days and noticed that a lot of the dedicated servers reset every other day. After watching it would seem that its around 250 days. Can anyone confirm the rollback time? The servers Im referring to are mostly US Dedicated PVP Servers. Also there is only one server on my list that remains under 100 ping. Is this because the other servers just have crappy hosts. Or does it relly make a 5k ping difference being on the Westcoast and looking at a Eastcoast server? It would be different for each server then, unless there's some Dedicated Server Committee whose memos I'm missing. I could verify though that the Dedicated Wilderness SanFran PvP Server resets on the 180th in-game days which amounts to 24 hours. Wherein one in-game day is equal to eight minutes. Unless I've calculated it wrongly. Do note that the Dedicated Wilderness SanFran PvP Server would reset every 4PM, PST. (Which is around a few minutes from the posting of this reply.) I haven't played in a while since my last play through a few days ago. Things could change though and like Rezecib has mentioned the admins to those servers could very well be designating resets for the servers. On the last question, I wouldn't have any idea. Sorry. A suggestion to any of these server owners would be to separate you restart time by 30 days in order to avoid every server being on winter at the same time. It would appear the severs empty during winter and the players just wait until the season is over in order to log back on. Just few stats to help anyone who will receive dedicated servers from Mark or those who already run them. That ping is sooo confusing though... Im in TX....
