FreshyQ Posted January 15, 2015 Share Posted January 15, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: General Issue Title: Can't Launch Don't Starve Together Issue Description: Game doesn't start. Installed via Steam - starting the game gives me an in-game notification for a couple of seconds, but the process terminates itself afterward. I've never successfully launched the game so no Klei folder exists within Documents. I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying the cache, restarting Steam, reinstalling VCRedist, reinstalling DXRedist, and changing the preferred graphics processor for the game. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive Don't Starve Together as a gift in Steam. 2. Install and try launching the game. Went to NVIDIA Control Panel and chose Integrated Graphics to run Don't Starve (whereas the online troubleshooting page suggested High-Performance NVIDIA Processor). I've got the team looking into why the game is not able to properly switch to the Dedicated video card, and hopefully we will have a solution soon.
