Screen stretched on my 16:10 (8:5) Macbook Air

Hi there. I'm running OSX Yosemite 10.10.1 on a mid-2012 Macbook Air. I've played Mark of the Ninja on other computers and monitor configurations, and I know that the game will place borders on the edges if the display is not running a 16:9 resolution.

Problem is, the game isn't placing borders on my screen, it just stretches the image regardless of my settings. I've tried 1440x900 (native resolution) and 8:5, as well as 1280x800 and 8:5. No borders, just stretched vertically, turning all the circles into ovals. In Windowed mode the game uses the correct aspect ratio, just not in fullscreen. Any suggestions?

I'll mention it to our programmers and see if they can look into it when they have an opportunity.
