Telltale Heart shouldn't be affected by armor

Recommended Posts

Hello !

It would be great if the craft of telltale heart is not reduced  by armor, because it's making the craft waaaaaaaaay too easy. A death should be a punishment for the player who die (lower health pool, which is already done) and a punish to the team too, it shouldn't be that easy to revive someone without price (the price was the malus, loosing a high quantiy of life and small quantity of sanity) but it's not the case anymore if you have the armor. which is bad.

Let's remember that don't starve is not an easy game and a death on don't starve alone means game over : your savegame is deleted, you loose everything.

Or maybe it's a bug ?

Too be fair, the telltale heart revives characters with their MAXHP reduced. And can tell you from experience having only 30 HP to work with is extremely punishing.  The act of reviving another character doesn't need to be as punishing as it currently is because of how bad the MAXHP reduction is.

You can craft a item to get back your initial max hp (booster shot), but obviously it's not cheap, otherwise death would mean nothing to players and it would be only a sim city game, which is not, it's a survival game where you shouldn't die. And in alone game when you die you loose your game forever(bye savegame), it's punishing and it's on purpose.
