Mod Tools missing from the library.

Howdy, i've never owned the orginal Don't Starve or its DLC Reign of Giants i just flat out bought the Don't Starve Together Stand alone thing so that i can play with a friend and about a couple days in and i'm in love with it, now.. i did alot of modding back in the Doom and Marathon ages but since then i haven't felt any inspiration until i got this game... anyway i'm getting off track.

 

I only own the DST game and i've checked the tools tab and i don't see the "Don't Starve Mod Tools" i've restarted steam just to see if for some odd reason that was the case and well.. it wasn't.

 

So do i need to get the Don't Starve/ROG to be able to get access  to the tools or what?

there are a few people that have had the same issues as you. i think you are able to download them somewhere on the forums, but they should be available to DST owners such as you. you can try to check the forum if you dont find a solution

@Bocka, the Don't Starve Mod Tools should now be visible in your tools library in Steam. It may take a few hours to propagate through the Steam servers. If you still don't have access tomorrow, please let me know. I look forward to seeing what mods ideas you create!
