Problem is, that i am not able to re-join game. He host the Server, got a disconnect and after we wanted to continue, he couldnt invite me. Morgue says, i got killed by darkness. hmpf. Could be that neither of you could actually get back online to play/rejoin the game. Steam is back online again though, is it working for you two now? As i wrote, i get kicked and "killed by darkness" when he disconnected.
