Mieko Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Hi, I apologize if this has already been listed somewhere. Is the fog of war supposed to reset for people rejoining the server? I'm playing with my boyfriend, who is the host of the server, and his map hasn't reset, but mine has. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it just hasn't been implemented yet. Also, it would be really helpful if there were North, South, East, and West directions on the map so we could communicate with each other in case we need help and aren't near one another. Almost through winter, the game is great so far! At least some of the time, it's being caused by Steam Cloud being enabled when it shouldn't be (check Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/settings.ini), and in other cases it's due to not being able to write to the save directory. In either case, if you could provide the contents of your log file after rejoining, that would probably be helpful. It's located in the same folder as settings.ini. As for directions, the most common solution for this so far has been to avoid rotating your camera, and referring to the default up as North, left as West, etc. But I think there are a couple of map/directions features planned that haven't been implemented yet.
