Tominator23 Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 It could just be me but I feel like the time it takes to pick items up off the ground is much longer then in single player. Yeah this is not a game breaking bug but it can be annoying if you are being chased by something and need to pick an item up quickly either to survive and run or to kill the monster that is chasing you. Even when I am not being chased, the time it takes is slightly annoying. as I said not a game breaking bug, I'm just bringing this up to see if I am the only one who feels it is slower and, if it is slower, bring it to attention. Riateche Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 You can actually pick items as fast as in single player if you're lucky. The client will show picking animation until it receives confirmation from server that item has been picked successfully. But if you press move keys while picking item it's possible that you'll have this item in inventory and the client will shortly show that. So you can just press space, wait usual time needed for picking item and then start moving again. If your ping is consistent at the moment and if the timing is correct you'll have it picked.
