The update made it to where you only have seven slots when upgraded fully, and the carbon myomer adds the eighth inventory slot at the cost of an augment slot. I think Potatoe's point is that he has 7 inventory slots (You can see them at the bottom of the image), not 8 like you'd think. This looks like a bug though I'll admit I've not tried it myself. But there is a bug with the Myomer Bundle losing the inventory slot it gives right now.
