So I follow your instruction, Add a new game, I did insert my beta key : LD7M-TE5P-4NHA-G602-YXUR Game properly activated in my steam account, the problem is after, when the game try to be install : An error occured while installing Don't starve Together Beta (invalid plateform) Os : Linux Gentoo Linux 3.9.2 #7 SMP Sun Nov 9 17:13:13 SGT 2014 i686 Intel® Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers 343.22-r2 Most of the games on steam works on my Gentoo : dota 2, borderlands 2 and pre-sequel, left 4 dead 2, Don't starve (my first linux game ) If you need any other informations, just ask me.
