Issue Title: Entire Map Erased After Update

Issue Description:

After the 'In With The New' update a few days ago, I noticed a change within the maps of my saved game files.

When I opened the map in one of my worlds, everything that was previously marked on it (trees, boulders, structures, etc) was gone and left me with an empty map. I had to re-explore everything over again for not only that single world but for my others as well.

Creating a new file after the update worked fine, it was just the ones that existed before it. I'm not sure if the problem is only occurring for me but it gets awfully annoying having to rediscover 3 of my already preexisting worlds.

Steps to Reproduce:

 

1. Open a file you have before the 'In With The New' update.

2. Open map.

I think this happened because hosts now cache things on the minimap like clients do. Before it wasn't caching them because it had access to all of them directly.

 

So this isn't really a bug, exactly... it's just something that had to happen when they made hosts and clients have the same kind of minimap, which they should.
