Issue Description: I clicked play online and it told me to make an account, so I did. It said I was registered and that I could go back to the game. However, It keeps saying that I have not logged on and in the bottom left it says logging in. It has been like this for 30 minutes...is there anything I can do to get in? Steps to Reproduce: started the game. Made an account. Wait 30 mins. If that doesn't work, you might also try verifying the integrity of the game's files and rebooting your computer. Let me know if any of that works! kraken121 Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I've been getting this since the patch as well, Constantly says "logging in..." in the bottom left, If i do not wait about 1 or 2 minutes or so before I hit "Play online" it will give me the create account screen, which will require a restart of the client to make the issue go away. note: I'm in HK and on a high speed connection, never really had any issues with speeds on steam. Also lag is extremely bad since the patch for me, as a host I'm fine, anyone that connects to me has been getting around 300 to 400 ping (in the states) making the game unplayable due to lag. Could you please send me your log.txt file, when you are having an issue with the accounts taking a long time to authenticate?It's located in your documents folder, Klei/DontStarveTogether/Log.txt What was lag like before the patch? I would expect bad ping between you and a player from the States, but 400 is on the high end of that. Here are several log files for you to looks at, seems you're using Amazon Cloud, (which really does not have a good track record outside north america and certain parts of Europe from what I have read) What I am wondering though,, considering the table i just looked at for their services,, why am I hitting US servers, ,shouldnt i be hitting the ones closest to my area? All these log files and tests in game were from my connection to a friend in the east coast US, both have very good high speed connections.
