Cam anyone reccomend a good turorial?

I think that in RoG, there should have been unique summer animals, since winter has pengulls and things of that manner. I'd like to make a mod adding a new songbird, maybe a new pengull-esque creature, and either change the walrus camp, or make a new walrus camp, to spawn the sombrero-dropping summer walrus, El Tusko, or more the accurate but less amusing El Colmillo, and his son, Hijo de Tusko/Colmillo. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to code. Can anybody reccomend a good modding tutorial?
