World size?

So there is a limit to how many islands? I'm on day 51 and i seem to have explored everywhere though i've only discovered about 7-8 islands, there are no other pathways for me to go which is a real shame since i have so many resources.

Is this just a bug, or is it intentional?

The world size is limited and this isn't a bug. But the devs said that there's a new map generator comming, maybe with bigger maps.

Interesting, i've been playing this game for 3-4 hours a time, something i haven't done in a long time. Its a shame i bought it so early on when there aren't enough long-term features, like dungeons, bosses and infinite, difficult goals. I have 2 meat effigys so its pretty impossible for me to die for good

It's just a beta, so you have unfortunately to wait for the mid and espacially the late game stuff.

Indeed Osterhasi, but i'm ok with that. Despite it being a BETA its already got so much.

From my map research, which is still in it's early stages, I've determined that there are always exactly 9 islands. There sometimes appear to be less islands when they spawn overlapping.
