Remram Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Bug Submission: Category: Crash Platform: PC Issue Title: Game doesn't start on Steam Windows 7 x64 Issue Description: Although it runs fine on a Mac OS X 10.9, it doesn't start on Windows 7 64b. I see the "preparing to launch" messagebox from Steam, then a command window for a fraction of a second, and nothing happens. Please advise. I followed the instructions on https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6050-EYOK-6809, including checking/deleting cache files/reinstalling/upgrading DX, to no avail. I was pointed to http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/39489-submitting-bug-reports/ over email. If I read the log file correctly, it looks like a system installation of Lua might be interfering with the game? Nekojin Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 I can say for certain that it's not just the OS, as I have Windows 7 x64, and the Steam Early Access version of the game.
