Eric960
Bug Submission: Category: Gameplay Platform: PC Issue Title: Energy Gun Issue Issue Description: When I was playing a round before I used the energy gun to kill a person. I wasn't sure if it recharged or not after it switched to Empty. I tried reloading it but nothing happened when I did it twice. When I was in another level afterwards I noticed it had 1/3 ammo instead of 1/1 (which fixed itself when I opened the level again)and it was reloaded. I'm not sure how the gun is supposed to function and if there is supposed to be a reload option or not. Note: Was not able to upload the save (said I'm not permitted to even though I have before. Might be because I messed around with the level difficulty numbers...I don't know. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Buy energy gun. 2. Kill guard. 3. Attempt reloading twice. 4. Finish level. 5. Start another level. This is what I did, no guarantee that it works.
Developer Wade Posted August 27, 2014 Developer Share Posted August 27, 2014 Okay, thanks, I'll take a look at the functionality of the gun and see what I can figure out.
SpaceHamlet
It seems like the functionality of the gun is this: 1. It can only be fired during one turn per mission.2. During the turn you fire it, it can be fired at least twice - possibly more.3. It can't be reloaded, but will be charged again next mission. If this is the intended behavior, the issue is with the UI - the way ammo is currently displayed doesn't really have any way to convey the details of gun's state, and its description makes it sound like an ordinary AP1 gun. Eric960
2. During the turn you fire it, it can be fired at least twice - possibly more. I was doing some more testing with this gun. It seem like you have it infinitely for one turn until the next mission.
