Mods wont open

I own Don't Starve and i'm having a problem which is when ever I open mods in game it just say's steam workshop checking subscriptions and it just stays like that. Please help.

Are you using Steam in offline mode? If the game can't connect to the Steam workshop it will prevent you from accessing the mod selection screen (this will also stop you from using mods if you have a pirated copy of the game, which I hope you don't). If you are in offline mode, just get steam online, open the game, activate the mods you like and then go offline again (if you'd like).

I own the game and i'm on online mode it's still not working.

depending whether you are on PC or mac , there are different steps you need to take for them to work. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube
