xWarbeasTx Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Ok so, today, I was wondering in a cave, and found a strange "Red Hole" in at some point. At day, you only see it as a crack in the floor, and at night it breaks open and Shadow monsters come out of it (you actually see them even if you have full sanity). And after you go back at the surface, a red light shines upon the cave's entrance... Could somebody tell me what is that? I couldn't find it... P.S.: You can't go inside it... I think... (I never stood more than a couple of seconds to try that). The entrance is not made out of Thelucite. It's just a hole in the Cave with red light coming out of it among with Shadow Creatures... It doesn't even let me go down. I don't believe there are the ruins, as I ventured in the ruins with 0 sanity and no Shadow Creature appeared... I don't believe there are the ruins, as I ventured in the ruins with 0 sanity and no Shadow Creature appeared...the red crack in the floor sometimes appears in caves and are abundant in the ruins. I have only ever encountered 2 in cave level but they have the same function as nightmare lights in the ruins except as far as I can tell in cave level they never switch off and shadow monsters will spawn and attack you regardless of your sanity if you go close to one.
