JustA4ever
I have worse problem: Even though I have pretty decent computer (8g ram, i5(3-3.5ghz), Gtx 560) still, while streaming, my don't starve starts to lag, and I don't really get why... Developer MarkL Posted June 23, 2014 Developer Share Posted June 23, 2014 Hey KitinMcuff, What does it say in the top left corner when you try to stream (when you hit the 'B' key). JustA4ever, could you please provide a screen shot of your Twitch Beta broadcast settings? Having a high framerate in Twitch Broadcasting, Smooth Scaling turned on, or a high resolution for your actual Don't Starve game all seem to contribute to poor performance. We are looking at ways to drastically improve streaming performance, but in the meantime playing with those settings should help. Developer MarkL Posted June 25, 2014 Developer Share Posted June 25, 2014 KitinMcuff, That's a new one! What OS are you using? JustA4ever, Thanks for uploading the config image. You can lower the streaming framerate to improve your performance, but that's all I can suggest for now. I'll be whipping up a streaming performance patch as soon as I can. Developer MarkL Posted July 2, 2014 Developer Share Posted July 2, 2014 @Dripinyelamadnz - Windows 7 is definitely supported! Could you please do me one more favor and check to see if you have Service Pack 1 installed? from about.comClick on Start and then Control Panel. Click on the System and Security link. Click on the System link. In the Windows edition area of the System window you'll find your Windows 7 edition information, Microsoft's copyright information, and also the service pack level. @KitinMcuff - Vista is supported, I will take a look to see if anything funny is going on in Vista.
