sfbrh
I love the art style in this game, and love all the aesthetic behind the characters. However I feel that there is room for improvement, and a lot of people would love the ability to customize the guy they are going to be spending the next 200 days with. Some ways in which to do this: - Different outfits. For example I think Wilson would be pretty awesome with a default 3-piece suit and monacle. - Different colour hair - Different colour clothes Would love this to happen and would extend the customization options to those that cannot mod. Tamazacat
It's not, personally, my cup of tea - however, that doesn't make it a bad suggestion.I like the characters as they are, but the ability to add small trinkets to their person seems like a bit of fun. Possibly earned through experience points? Vanderer
I've always like the idea of extra outfits and such for the characters. I wanna don some goggles on Wilson, myself. Who doesn't love a bit of steam punk with their tea and biscuits? Or coffee and pancakes. It would make the aspect of playing as a character for the next forever a bit easier to put up with, and yes, not everyone can mod, so it gives them something as well. As always, so long as generally the clothes match the character, *and a few silly things here and there for certain characters and everyone couldn't do any harm* Then I sincerely approve of the idea. I'd say we get these...Special clothes and trinkets through the experience system we have now, except make it for each individual character. *Example, unlocking some nice old steam-punky goggles for Wilson on 5 days of survival, the next piece of whatever on ten, and so forth* So long as we can access these at any time, it's all well and good. Maybe when we have unlocked said clothing, we would have to craft them, and since these are purely cosmetic items, you'd only need to do it once, as they should never break since they are purely aesthetic. and it would go into a sort of permanent wardrobe tab that would carry over for every play through with the item unlocked for that character, no crafting needed once its done the first time. Perhaps as a little notification that you have unlocked the thing, your character would say something. *Wilson* Hmm......Maybe if I somehow combine this circular thingy and this shiny rock with some rope, I could make....Some goggly things for the outside of my brain! It's brilliant! Maybe something like that? New stylish glasses for Wickerbottom, some flaming earrings for Willow, A different bow for Wendy, a new style of mustache for Wolfgang! This would be amazing!
