Really want to buy Don't Starve but am unsure about multiplayer and controller support

Hey I really want to buy this game but have noticed that it's seems like it might be missing multiplayer co op and contrller support. I found this hard to believe because every quality game needs to have these 2 features. Don't Starve looks like a high quality game-which is why it's confusing that it might be missing those 2 features. IMHO only developers who don't care about their game selling well would forgo such important modern game features.

 

bTw if you're hear to tell me that I should be playing with a K&M then don't bother.  I don't consider gaming work and therefore I demand the right to play a game sitting up at a keyboard.  Most gamers today are casual gamers which is why it always amazes me when a company doesn't include controller support.

Multiplayer is on its way and Don't Starve already has controller support.

I feel like you're dissin' my taste :/ I haven't even held a controller until a few weeks back. This game is good whatever you play it on, and it is perfectly built to fit any single-player need. Multiplayer is a bonus really. A really good one.
