Bow And Arrows

I believe that a pretty cool idea to add is a bow and arrow, not much more I can say then that, what do you guys think about this idea ?

Welcome to the community of Don't starve! Well to start off,this idea has been discussed over before many times and currently,the blow dart is there to compensate.Eventually though,bow and arrows will be implemented in the future hopefully.

hmm how would it work though? must it be locked onto an enemy or would there be an option to stay still while wherever you click the bow would shoot, regardless if theres an enemy. then firing speed, draw speed, how fast can you move while firing.

its a good idea i agree but I feel that no one would use a spear anymore because bows would take you away from the danger and ability to pick off enemies. unless damage is less and materials arent common and how fast they wear out.

I can already imagine the build. 4 sticks (maybe 6 or 8 depending on expensiveness vs usefulness), a new strong string refinement? out of webs to make it more scarce. then arrows would be 4 sticks, 1 flint, and 4 feathers gives you 4 arrows each.

Ya I was thinking that the damage wouldnt be to amazing but if you gather up a good amount of materials it could be a pretty good weapon
