Harken
Hi guys! Okay so I've been playing Don't Starve off an on for a year and a half now, and have about 375 hours logged. For a long time I've been meaning to make this suggestion so here goes. I have OCD, which means whenever I plant the grass, twig or berry fields I spend forever trying to get the plants aligned. What I would like to see if the ability to craft a field of say, 3 x 3 stalks (grass, twigs and berries). Then instead of placing each stalk individually, you would place the field. It would save time, especially for people like me. Craft Berry Field -> requires 9 berry bushes.Craft Grass Field -> requires 9 grass stalks.Craft Twig Field -> requires 9 twig roots. KidneyBeanBoy
There is a mod called architectural geometry that allows you to do things like that much easier. Harken
I'll check it out, thanks. Still a good idea for vanilla DS though. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/33530-help-your-fans-with-ocd/#findComment-437700 Share on other sites

23rd
Out of every mod I've ever used, Architectural Geometry is the only one I consider absolutely essential. Highly recommended, I never bothered with farms of any kind (twig, grass, food) before getting it. Unrelated, but digging up turf makes it easier to center things so when you do end up customizing your floors, it's more aesthetically pleasing.Man.. I could go into this huge list of base building tips and tricks but this really isn't the thread for it. Parrotoss
Yes, I love for my bases to be organized and pretty, so the mod is a big help; although, I usually give up on pretty farms if my objects and machines aren't in the right spots.
