Bolded will be basically the whole point for the ones who don't like reading long texts.

So you know we're all just trying to prevent turtle-ling and promote exploring and all by nerfing all the things that people use for turte-ling. But somehow we always manage to find a way around it or just endure and continue doing what the Devs don't want us to do.We hoard a huge amount of transplant-able plants for easy access but this has been nerfed by adding the need for manure.Still we do it anyways. Then there's the spacing between plants that prevent very compacted resource fields, yet we still making them by using more land. There were the fire hounds to burn all our goodies,we just moved the resource fields somewhere else. Why just not remove transplanting itself and to compensate,we could have larger yields and grass grow in 2-3 clusters, saplings too.For berries have them yield perhaps 2 berries or 1-2 berries. The community will endure! We will adapt! We will survive!WE WILL NOT STARVE!!

so please consider it.It might be quite a blow but in the long run i think it could work.

I've just started a new run with Wendy and as a challenge I decided not to transplant anything.

I don't thing making the grass grow in groups is really necessary, as the game is pretty good with the randomness of resource placement (as in trully random, not evenly scattered around). I found a spot which is plagued with grass all around...

...and if you aren't as lucky as I was, there's always the beefalo biomes which is usually plagued with grass too.

I survived before we could replant, and I will survive after it too.

+1 to taking out the replanting mechanism.

Before the shovel, I loved wondering around for a couple of days until I found the perfect spot to make a camp. Let's bring that back!

I don't know,If your update was considered and put into effect.I would still transplant a lot just for the convenience of it being close and i would have so much that I would save more time collecting the huge fields of resources that i would hardly go out and get it.

You gave me an option. In hopes of your option being the better but in the end quantity made transplanting the better option. My idea is to not give the players an option and make them adapt to the new situation that the idea puts them in.It's like winter, the players have no option of it being winter or not it's forced upon them and thus they must endure and adapt.

I see what your saying, and with this it comes down to preferance, because i would prefer going on expeditions to collect more stuff and getting bonus resources, as opposed to managing a grass farm which requires manure to sustain. the point i was trying to make was allowing people to choose which way they wanted to do it, and by giving both options pros and cons rather than forcing people into one or the other. :)

They let loose the hounds on us.They let loose the were pigs on us,they let loose the tree guardian, the ninja tallbirds, the gobblers, and Soon a god that steals from you.Winter is coming, food will be scarce, insanity only around the corner. Doesn't seem the Devs gave us a lot of choices. :)
