I think if you buy it through the Humble Bundle widget thingy, you can bypass that entirely. I'm pretty sure it'll give you separate codes for each copy, so you don't have to worry about the weird way Steam handles the extra copy. (As far as I know, the Humble Bundle widget gives both Chrome and Steam keys, though I personally bought it through Steam so I don't know for certain)

Yup, only drawback is it's an "intangible" key rather than a "physical"(digital) item. But if you don't care about gift presentation, screw Steam :)
