Koalefant coat change summer to winter

Would be cool if koalefants changed there coats much like the rabbits do, so that a summer koalefant became a winter koalefant when winter rolled around. As a bonus it could be interesting if when you brought two together they'd form a herd and breed like the beefalo (obviously this may be to easy to farm for meat at that point but could be offset if they did more damage?)

It doesn't, exactly. I have a fondness for koalaphants, so I often chase them into pens and keep them as pets/poop factories. A koalaphant spawned in spring/summer/fall will keep its summer coat through winter, and the reverse goes for a koalaphant with a winter coat. I like to catch one of each.

Solitary animals are still solitary animals even if you try to make two of them hang out.

Same! They're so cute, and there's just something nice about having the two kinds together. I'd be really sad to see the existing ones all change with the season.

 

Now adding in Spring and Autumn variants...sign me up.
