I had just jumped down a sink hole and bam, the shadow ate me, didn't check my sanity, died. Oh well, it's summer and I've dropped a backpack off at my touch stones w anything I may immediately need. Half a day walk later back to the sink hole, and...what? Chester? But I left you in the hole w the eye bone? Oh well, here we go, and I plunge to the depths grab my stuff and bail out. When I get back up I have two chesters, both w the items I had stored before my demise...anyone seen this? I'm playing on ps4. And also the remaining rocks are covered w tier 3 spider nests, any tips on clearing this area? Deacon_Blue Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 Regarding the Chesters: Yeah, that's a known bug. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like a quick and easy fix. Regarding the spider dens, Lord_Battal said it best. There's a very, very simple answer to this. So simple, it should be obvious. BURN EVERYTHING! I feel dumb now, I had even planted a ton of trees, when the hounds came I set it ablaze and ran out, picked off the remainder two of the nine....and then it just erased from my mind as a possibility to apply to other aspects... This well over my 100 attempt at playing and as long as the double acts right I won't mind the extra space....tho it does suck when I'm bailing on an attack and Chester acts as a super long tail causing undesired kiting... When I went back to the caves I grabbed my stuff and BAM!!!I had two chesters. I was amazed I had two chesters. But when I left the caves and came back to the caves after a few days with both chesters. In the caves he ran with my jerky and food. So I killed him that's my story. What we can do while the glitch works, is make many, many, bug nets, then fill chester up with killer bees. When he dupes, and dupes again, you can use him as a tank with a massive army to avenge him.
