TheDanaAddams
Screaming and foot-stamping is not going to win you any friends. As mentioned, there are a number of tutorials to help you - including an in-depth, step-by-step guide for beginners that will teach you to do exactly what you want, written by myself. When you don't read the pinned tutorials, people won't exactly want to rush to help, and short-tempered, angry outbursts aren't going to help. JackSlender
I suggest you take a look at Handsome Matt's tools. They are a bit old, but they should work just fine. XirmiX
What I need to know: What is a Template and if it's a .tex file then how do I open it with paint.NET (It DOES support PNG files). Cause when I try to open wilson.tex file in bigportraits folder, it tells me this: "The image type is not recognized, and cannot be opened" Tell me how to do it and why it doesn't open in paint.NET Sound files, which are .fsb doesn't give any sound or doesn't work when I open them with VLC media player! Why does nothing work?!
JackSlender
In terms of the images, I do believe you need to convert them with TEXTOOL. To do so, just open it and then save it as a .png file from TEXTOOL. Try re-downloading, or converting one of Don't Starve's own portraits if that doesn't work. Don't Starve's are located in: dont_starve/data/bigportraits For the sound, you need to create and edit it with software called FMOD designer. It is included with the Don't Starve Mod Tools on Steam. If you don't have steam, then there should be a free version at this link: http://www.fmod.org/download/ I apologize if this doesn't help you, but I'll do my best to help more if it doesn't.
