Angryscotsman Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Hello there people of the Klei Forums, My name is Charlie and this is my first character mod, get this, EVER. I love Sonic and remember the joys of playing Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast and Sonic games on the internet so I wanted to put him into one of my most favourite game on Steam which is Don't Starve. I have created (nearly) a 16-bit rendition of Sonic The Hedgehog from his 1991 game, hurray right? Wrong. Unfortunately my blue-coloured friend doesn't seem to go well with Don't Starve as when I go to select him from the character screen the game crashes. I've seen tutorials on YouTube on how to do this and I just can't seem to find where I have gone wrong. Also which is a total bummer is that my mod is out of date but even before when it was in date it was still not working. What this workshop that I've made is for (hopefully) a polite character modder for Don't Starve to help me in the right direction so that even you can play as Sonic in Don't Starve. Check your spelling, capitalization and file locations to make sure they match up.
