Weirdest Glitch Ever [Don't Starve Playthrough]

I was playing through Don't Starve and I was on like day 607. When I was about to hit day 610, on day 609. Something happened that weirded me out a whole ton! As soon as I was at like, the last second of day 609, at night. That's when the weird stuff happened. It said 'Saving' and then the whole game froze. Not the actual game, just the things in the game. It was still responding and everything was frozen except for me. The science machine wasn't moving anymore, the crock pot wasn't cooking and it didn't say 'Day 610'. But afterwards, about 10 seconds later, it went back to normal and said 'Day 610' and in the corner. But I was still pretty spooked out about that glitch. I keep thinking about it, all day... Every day. Anyway, currently I'm on day 698, and I am nearly on day 700, on my Wolfgang day 1000 attempt that I've been doing for a while. Thanks for reading.... This was pretty creepy.

I saw that happen once. Then a Deerclops just killed them. I was then happy.

Actually, it just hit a processing overflow by the sound of it. The rest of the world had a rendering progress problem while you were allowed to "travel" while it updated.
