VrtraTheory
Yes, thanks for all the answers (and all the answers to my unrelated questions as well). I'm now on Day 25 of a new game as Woodie, so I'll start a new thread if I run into more questions! You left a hell of a first impression on most of the members here. the truthseeker
And remember with Boomerangs: You have to use the action button not attack button (by default space bar on computers) and keep it held down BEFORE the boomerang returns to you to catch it and not have it hit you. VrtraTheory
Aha - that is what I read online, but for whatever reason, it does not work for me at all. If I keep spacebar held down, the boomerang hits me in the face. The only way I've been able to consistently catch the boomerang is to wait until the boomerang hits the target, then tap the spacebar once. I've had 100% success with this method, except in the case of that death, where the spider warrior was almost on top of me and I couldn't time the spacebar right. Based on more testing, the best case for boomerang is probably a target no closer than 3 bushes away. (Sidenote: I had fun with Woodie, while it lasted... Picked a fight with a spider warrior that I couldn't win. Then I respawned at the stone circle and froze to death before I could make a torch. Curse these stone circles! I think I might go back to Wilson for my next game, I was really missing that beard.) It is worth to put a chest next to it and fill it with a survival kit. I call it Resur-wrecked when this happens to me everytime I forget to put these chests down...^^ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/30823-question-charcoal/page/3/#findComment-404368 Share on other sites

I call it Resur-wrecked when this happens to me everytime I forget to put these chests down...^^ Heh. I did clear out the area around the circle, and I always *intended* to go back and stock up a chest nearby... Actually, I wanted to build my base right on top of the circle, but there was a big graveyard right next to it, and as far as I can tell you can't remove those headstones, which would be an eyesore near my base. Maybe next time I won't be so picky. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/30823-question-charcoal/page/3/#findComment-404418 Share on other sites
