It seems to work fine in sandbox mode, but the files I copy from adventure mode doesn't seem to work when I put them back in the save folder, why is this? Adventure mode is a bit over the top for me and I'd like to be able to save after every chapter. after every chapter. the truthseeker Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Look, the problem is the way "save scrumming" works in this game is overwriting an existing save file of that game type in that specific slot you saved. There are three save types: Survival, cave and Adventure. So if you don't have an EXISTING (newer) file to overwrite, it won't copy over. Now with Survival and (mostly) cave worlds, that's simple: Create a new game in that save slot (enter a cave,) and save/quit. Copy over the file and reload. But if you wish to cheat "backup," you have to find the doorway to adventure, enter it, save/quit, and overwrite it EACH time. Personally, since you don't permanently die if you fail, I'm siding with Misaki on this "man up and enter until, you win." We all have/had to do it this way.
