_-_-_
My take on screecher. 1st part of the game up untill you first see schreecher: screecher is a necromancer and makes his victims scream to scare off everyone. The part where you actually see screecher and start running for your life: screecher is a necromancer owl that played too much slender man. The part when you get to the heli pad: well, that was easy. The ending: one of these things could have happened. 1. Owl men took someone's radio and was listening into the same frequency.2. Owl men are attracted to red lights. 3. Owl men can talk like humans/can disguise as humans. HoneyHam
I'm going with solution number 2, they probably saw lights and went:"TASTEH HOOMAN OVA DER!" HoneyHam
Owls are animals. Therefore, they should not see the lights, no matter how human. But The Screecher is a supernatural beast that eats faces. Nothing in that forest can turn lights on unless it has opposable thumbs and an intelligent mind. Like a human. The Screechers hunt humans. And they're fictional, they don't have to follow logic, or physics. NikMik
Maybe Screecher's are actually just looking for some nice romance - but accidentally eat the person they're trying to kiss's face off? Maybe they saw the red lights and were like, "Hoo-hoo-mans over there! Me gonna get some tonight!" Or they could be angry because no one wants to kiss a creepy owl-man with a giant mouth on his stomach. Or they could just be hunting humans for food? You never know... HoneyHam
But on the positive side, I do agree with the fact they may be necromancers. In the game, the list of people has the person's status on them, right? Well two of them say "monster."I think The Screechers eat your face, take you away to a ritual site, and then do some magical stuff and then an owl face grows on your lack of one. And then they drain you of your fluids and food so you look starved. And put you in a small furry skirt. NikMik
And put you in a small furry skirt. I think they do that for the children. They may be horrible owl monsters, but they still make sure children aen't exposed to genitals. But think of the end, all those screechers. They would have a secondary food source. Or have other screechers in society murdering people and bringing the food back to the colony. They probably maul birds and rabbits when there aren't any campers. Edit: And here's another question, why do they need two mouths? they have one on their owl head, and then they have a huge one on their torso. What are they for? Craig_Perry
It makes sense, but animals are not usually attracted to red lights. you have no idea how much this statement is making me facepalm right now... many animals share the same type of vision as us seeing the spectra of light we do If I remember correctly its 400-700nm while its true many also don't its perfectly possible this one does, even if it sees in infared it'd see the lights as a heat source. the truthseeker
It's a KILLING MONSTER people! Do you stop Freddy or Jason and ask about their continuous reasoning why they mass murder after the Event that made them into monsters? All that would do would get you ironically killed (and in Freddy's world, with a bad dead pun.) Why do Screechers see you with Owl heads and make you into more Screechers? Because they are Screechers and that's what they do! Please don't be that Smart-Ass in the Movie theater what explains why everything is wrong out loud. 'Nuff Said.
