I'm sure of it ) A strange aura filled the area, a pair of blue eyes and a blue energy orb synthesizing out of thin air. The eyes looked in a disapproving manner at Audia. Suddenly, a powerful beam of light energy burned straight into Audia's backside, singing her, and into Cory, healing her instead. A pair of tendrils of spectral energies rose up next to Audia, and wrapped around her shoulders, forcing her arms to her sides. The eyes narrowed to angry slits, the pupils turning a bright, purifying white. A circle of runes lit up around Cory, glowing a bright yellow. The ball of energy changed form into a circle dotted with small crosses. After a few seconds, it changed shape into a shard, and drove right into Audia's chest. There was a significant energy buildup in the shard, which had not yet shattered. She screams out in pain too, causing Winro to fall to the ground in pain. The shard overcharged and exploded inside Audia's chest, creating an explosion that knocked her to the ground. More spectral tendrils wrapped around Audia's chest, binding her to the ground. The aura around Cory turned blue and dimmed. "Wha....I thought that was holy healing for a second...I'm...not gonna ask." Daniel and Winro got up, starting to feel more stable. Winro runs back to Lewis, eyes and hands glowing blue. She hold them above Lewis, and his wounds start to close. "Looks like whatever that was did the trick...Mum's coming to her senses. Whatever you do, guys, don't say anything about what happened earlier, else she'll be upset and she'll cry...and I hate it when Mum cries." Daniel says, panting a bit from the pain. Audia groans a bit. Creatures like her were not living in the technical sense, she was like a ghost. She was sane again...but all she knew at the moment was she was being tied down. In short, she could not remember what occurred beforehand. Anyone smart enough would know not to mention any battles. Her brilliant purple eye scanned the area, confused. "...do I really want to know what just happened?" Audia says, her voice shrill and raspy. Cory shook her head lightly. "Nah...it doesn't matter now. What matters is, a nasty fight happened, and everyone is safe." She gives a quick glare to everyone. It spoke volumes. One word about what had happened, and there'd be punishment, is what it said. "Oh, good...good...can someone get me out of these binds?" Audia floated back into standing position, stretching, a few bones could be heard snapping back into place within Audia's body. She looked at Erised with confusion as well, but decided not to ask. She floats calmly to her furbound son, placing thin, but gentle ghostly hands on his shoulders. "Daniel, sweetie, are you ok?" The ex-assassin looks upon him, her single eye wide with concern for her son. "I'll be fine, mum, 'onest." the Furmion replied, waving her off with a paw-like hand...until the Ectonurite opposite him embraces him in a bear hug. Cory laughs to the point of wheezing. Winro smirks at Daniel, laughing herself. "Muuuuuuum! Don't embarrass me! Not in front o' e'ryone!" he whines, kicking at the air. "I will embarrass you when I want to, I'm your mother." Audia smiles cheekily, and Cory laughs harder. (Didn't Cory just say not a word about what happened?) Erised took out a transparent scroll that was engulfed in white flames. "It was this scroll....which was only a one time deal, i'm afraid. I had intended to save it for myself, but...turns out I need you just as much." Erised threw away the ghost scroll, which was consumed by the flames and turned into blue and white specks of ash. Cory responded, in a deadpan voice. She got up and stretched. Winro got up and brushed off her skirt. "A good point. I'd think it's best if you switched to your strongest form, Cory. Better protection." Cory looked at Audia with exasperation, and rolls her eyes. "Alright, fine." Cory said, before her eyes began to glow white. A mass of black magic swirls about Cory, covering her. It begins to grow in size, until it dissapates.
