davidblackberry1
Flamingos would be found in marshes sometimes found near ponds. They would drop a featherof soothing (10% of the time) a morsel (89% of the time) or a gnome (1% of the time. They would be neutral attacking you if you attack them first. They would be found in groups of 2-3. Feathers of soothing could be made into soothing darts, making it as if you had never attacked a mob. But it would only work on neutral mobs such as beefalos and pigs, and sometimes some hostile mobs like spiders. (If you hit a spiders nest then shoot a dart at one of the spiders it would go back into the nest but at dusk or night when its hostile it would not work). I like the idea of the soothing dart though.

MilleniumCount
I would like evil, bloodthirsty flamingos.....wouldn't it be nice if they try to disguise themselves as decoration? Like standing still until you show them your back, not necessarily to attack you but.....for the fun....there is potential for nice quotes. Although you should mix in an other animal or some other ''exeptional'' trait like a pun with the name...Flam(e)ingo...any connection to fire...perhaps they die like an Firehound but in the ashes there is an Flameingo egg. This would make them to a sort of Phoenix creature but as Flamingo....would fit I think ^^
