Linux bug: Eets Munchies opens Firefox window, but won't release mouse

Hello.

 

I'm using Linux Mint 13 AMD64; Nvidia 560 Ti; Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz; 8GB DDR2 800Mhz.

 

I've just run Eets: Munchies for the first time, and played through the first set of levels (getting all 36 pieces of candy--yay!).  I was about to close the game and do something else for a while when I noticed the "Beta" banner at the top-right.  I clicked on it, and it opened up Firefox in another window.  (Note: Eets was NOT running fullscreen; I couldn't figure out how to make it fullscreen.) 

 

Firefox gave me a "not default browser" dialogue window (odd, since it is my default, and always has been), and I found that even though Firefox was in the foreground, the mouse cursor was still in the Eets cursor shape.  What's more, it could not leave the space occupied by the now-background Eets window, and would not allow me to interact with anything: clicking had no effect, at all.

 

Stranger, still, when I hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up my system monitor (a custom shortcut), the cursor could then leave the Eets window space, but remained in the game's cursor shape, and could not interact (still no clicking).  I used the tab and arrow keys to navigate to the "end task" button, and told it to end Eets.  No effect; the program claimed to be "sleeping," but would not close.  I finally had to switch to a TTY and issue "killall -9 eets2-bin" in order to end this strange behavior.  After this, my desktop went back to normal.

I have Linux Mint 15. I bought Dont starve by steam. Game dont run. Other games as TF2 works.
