iiiyyylll Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 The short version of my problem is every mod I download from the steam workshop, other places, and even my own mods I've created I can active my mods but when I go to the character selection screen and I try to select the character I switch over to where the character should be and my game crashes. It doesn't give me an Error message or anything it just says don't starve is not responding and then it closes. I have looked at the log.txt file but i'm unsure what i'm looking for in it. However i'm unsure how to fix it.Your image dimensions need to be powers of 2 so you can pick from 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024 and 2048. So i've successfully been able to make him spawn with the axe but not the textures for it, and when i add Asset("ANIM", "anim/swap_exo.zip"), to my exo.txt file (the scripts/prefab) of my mod the second i open the game it crashes. I have gone to my log.txt file and i think i found the problem but i'm unsure on how i would go about fixing it the line says"..\source\animlib\animmanager.cpp(395) :: Tried to add build [exo] from file [../mods/Headless/anim/swap_exo.zip] but we've already added a build with that name!" Developer Cheerio Posted October 20, 2013 Developer Share Posted October 20, 2013 Your problem sounds like you're using the same build name for your axe as one that's already in the game. Every asset in the game has to have a unique build name. What you'll want to do is check out the item modding guide and follow the build renaming steps.
