jacdhalina
Ok, so I fixed all problems regarding trying to find nonexistent files, and I also used the logs to find out I needed to change some .tex fies to 2D. And it worked. Done. But when I started to load a world with the character, it crashed?Link to the new files: http://www.mediafire.com/?mz41ti26bjwn25yAlso, here is the error message I found in the logs:.lua(141,1) Loading mod: Spawn Character 2 (Spawn Character2) scripts/mods.lua(165,1) Mod: Spawn Character 2 (Spawn Character2) Loading modworldgenmain.lua scripts/mods.lua(173,1) Mod: Spawn Character 2 (Spawn Character2) Mod had no modworldgenmain.lua. Craig_Perry
Rename everything called wod?yep, not sure if thats the issue, but its worth a shot
Developer Cheerio Posted October 14, 2013 Developer Share Posted October 14, 2013 Rename everything called wod?I think it's because in 'wod.lua' you call 'MakePlayerCharacter("Spawn", prefabs, assets, fn)' and in 'modmain.lua' you call 'AddModCharacter("wod")'. I believe those two names need to match.

Developer Cheerio Posted October 14, 2013 Developer Share Posted October 14, 2013 It looks like something is wrong with your 'anim/wod.zip' file. I'd suggest going through the steps in the Artist's Guide to Character/Item Modding and that should fix it up.

But for some reason I can't even get it to start without it crashing still. I went to scripts/prefabs/wod.lua and changed the wod to spawn...http://imgur.com/psAm1kx

jacdhalina
Check your log file. There was one other lua error I had to fix. Also: I just checked, and the atlas_0.tex in the anim/wod.zip file looks just fine... So is it something with the build.bin? Developer Cheerio Posted October 16, 2013 Developer Share Posted October 16, 2013 What could it be then and how do I fix it?I can't tell just by looking at the .bin file which is why I was suggesting looking up the tutorial and make sure you did everything it says. Developer Cheerio Posted October 16, 2013 Developer Share Posted October 16, 2013 What could it be then and how do I fix it? I got it working. The problem was that your .tex file wasn't named correctly and that it was saved exported as '1d' instead of '2d'. Here's a working file and a screenshot to match . wod.zip
