That's strange, do you have the latest hotfix (Rev. 88571)?

But anyway, the functionality and look in 1.1 and 1.2 is the same. If 1.1 is still working for you, consider updating it optional.

@simplex Think you could a ForceEnableMod type thing, as well? Becuz when a crash disables all the mods, it also disables the manual workshop check. DX

Yes, you can force enable it. That's what I do.

But this is not something a mod can do on its own, its the user that has to configure it by putting the line

ForceEnableMod "ManualWorkshopUpdate"
in their modsettings.lua, inside the mods folder.

I'll think about it. But force enabling is meant as a tool for modders, not general users, so I'm not sure... It does have its pitfalls, such as not working correctly during worldgen (which has no effect on this mod, but still...).

I think an exception can be made for this mod. It's a very tiny mod that doesn't actually affect anything INGAME. Just on the mods screen.
