Invisibool Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Not sure if this belongs here, but if I have an activated touchstone on the surface, and I die in the caves/ruins, will it resurrect me, or do I have to bring along an effigy or red amulet?Also, if I have an effigy on the cave sublevel, but die in the ruins, or vice versa, will it revive me? aredshroom Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 It should resurrect you at the activated touchstone (working similarly to meat effigies). As for cave effigies, I've never tried it out for sure but theoretically it should work because it's the nearest resurrection point to your character. But how does it determine where to resurrect you if the resurrection source is on a different level? Let's say I have touchstone on the surface, and meat effigy in the ruins, and die in the caves. Danest Posted November 4, 2013 Share Posted November 4, 2013 I just tried this (two characters, actually.) Activated the touchstone, got killed in the caves, and the characters simply died, and didn't reappear at the touchstone. If it's not a bug or a feature, I suppose I'm going to have to figure out which mod could have done this.
