How about adding bridges to connect two islands together and maybe platforms so you could have a camp in the middle of the sea. :3

There could be multiple types of bridges and platforms like:

-wooden bridge/platform,you could walk and place items on it but if you lit a fire it would burn because of the wood. :3

-Stone bridge/platform,same as wooden bridge however you can have a fire on it.

-OH,i don't know how to call this method of transportation but you travail in a sac who is attach to a pulley which is attach to a rope and the rope it attach between two trees, that could be cool.

I guess there could be treasure islands and the only way to get to there is by sea(bridges).

I don't know why but you can't start fishing in the sea so how about adding a longer fishing rod for sea fishing. :3

Considering that the ocean in this game is used as a permanent, uncrossable barrier, I don't think we should be able to fish in it or cross it. However, I really would like to see more interaction with bodies of water in this game than just fishing in ponds. If other bodies of water were added, such as rivers or lakes, that would allow for things like bridges, boats, more types of fishing, etc, while still preserving the impassible ocean barrier.

I think they could fix the uncrossable barrier part by just adding some impassable rocks in the sea or something. This would also give a use to the unused outside of adventure mode Basalt rock, since they could use that for the impassable barrier.

I prefer having that unknowing excitement if a a new biome I am about to explore branches off to another biome or is actually a dead end. If I knew biomes had bridges that would allow easy access to cross over to another biome, to me it would be boring. I like exploring and backtracking.

Besides this would also make it a lot easier to go Spartan on hordes of enemies. Allowing easier funnelling.
