*He grabs some dirt from the ground*

"We are gonna have to play dirt, grab some dirt and throw it on their eyes"

Shard glares menacingly at the tallbirds. She waves her tail around madly before readying herself to charge and spreading her wings.

"TALLBIRDS, WELCOME TO DIE!" Lucas then throws a giant ball of mud into a tallbirds eye "Well now he can't see. SCORE ONE."

[Battal]

The tallbirds shriek in anger.  Slicing their claws into the ground, they send clods of dirt and rock flying towards the group.

"JUST GO!"  Jakob yells, wiping dirt from his eyes.  "JUST GET ACROSS, I'LL CATCH UP!" 

He lights a clod of dirt and throws it at another tallbird.

[Rabbitfist]

"if youre done look around, our tunnels are mostly everywhere!"

[Battal]

"I'M LOOKING, DAMNIT!  AND WE AREN'T RABBITS-HOW DO YOU EXPECT US TO CRAWL THROUGH A MILE OF TUNNEL?!?!?"

Jakob blasts another tallbird, but one gets close enough to slice him with its beak. 

"Oh, sh-RUN!"

Jakob's eyes begin to glow red.

 

<Stop, stop, stop!  You'll destroy the bridge and probably kill your friends!>

 

Flickers of flame begin to light on Jakob's arms, but they go out just as fast.

 

"Just-stop-stalling!  Just-get across-the bridge-"

[Blewcheese]

*Joseph looks concerned at Jakob, but nods his consent.*

"We better go. Now."

*Trying to go as safely and swiftly across the bridge, he begins to cross*

Shard whines, before flapping into the air in a burst of fire and soaring across the chasm over the bridge.

With the group across the bridge, Jakob turns and runs across it.  The tallbirds, cautiously at first, come onto the bridge.  Their weight, however, is too much for the ruined construction.  With a snap, the posts holding the bridge to the tallbird's cliff snap.  The bridge swings through the air, sending tallbirds tumbling down the chasm like rag dolls.   With an enormous crash, and a burst of dust, the bridge smashes into the group's side of the chasm.

Whisp stares down where the bridge fell.

"well we wont be going back this way now..."

Rick was a normal person. He lived a normal life, had a normal family, and he had a normal job in a cubicle. Until one day, he found a game. A game called Don't Starve. He loved the game. He played and played and played. He played at home, he played outside, he miraculously played in his car, and he played in his cubicle. Then, he finally made it to the end of Adventure mode with Woodie. Maxwell said something different this time. He said "Congratulations, you've made it with everyone but me. Now, I think you are ready to complete the Adventure yourself." Rick was confused. Complete the Adventure by yourself? What did that mean? While Rick was pondering this, a shadow hand leaped from the floor and brought him into the Don't Starve world. He survives for a couple days with newfound powers. He could summon plants to rise up and oppose enemies, and as his power grew, the power of his plants did too. He tried his best to survive for 5 more days, but on the 8th day, he met a strange group.

I just edited it because I realized your character could summon fire. Now he makes plants, and as his power grows, so does the plant's power. Anyway, what's happening?

Shard snorts, flicking her ears and watching the place the bridge collapsed.

 

Well, looks like most of us aren't getting across... don't know if I will, either. If I fall in... well, if I fall in, then my wings will extinguish and I won't be able to fly anymore. And it's a chasm, so if I trip... nevermind.

(really we just crossed a bridge after tallbirds tried to attack us, that bridge broke as the tall birds tried to get across... now we have to go get to this path... it would be better if you read this but... I'm sort of the same so I can't say anything :\ and i'm horrible at explaining things.)

IC: Rick heard many screams of tallbirds. Rick decided to check it out. Upon finding the group, along with all the tall birds, he ran forward and asked them who they were.

Rick started to nervously hesitate. He knew from playing Don't Starve that mistakes could mean death and he probably just made a mistake. Rick says, "My name is... Rick Wily."

Jakob looks at Rick closely, then shrugs.

"You appear to be pretty normal...how long have you been here?"
