Shadowfall

[Will]

Violet dashes forward, all of her electricity in her right hand, and Dark Will's knife in her left.

"Go to hell, you f*****g a****t!"

Violet feints with the knife, and the Warden goes to block it. Seeing his defenses are down, Violet plunges her right arm into the darkness that is the Warden's heart, and pumps all of her electricity into it at once.

[Battal]

The Warden roars in agony, then pulls Violet off his chest and dashes her to the ground.  He raises the spiked ball down and strikes, impaling Violet and crushing a few bones.  The Warden then raises his hand, which is now glowing with ghostly fire, and positions his armor so it covers his heart. 

"YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME!"   He says, kicking Violet out of the way like a broken toy and charging the group.

[Percival]

(Charge...Clear!)

[Battal]

I'm just going to assume that the lack of posts is due to Blew's exams, and you all better hope it is, or Blew is going to be splattered across the wall.

Not that I'm not used to that, but Daver taught me that Blew's name can mean something else in an entirely different context...)

(Yeah, I can see he's on a lot.  Somebody should purchase an ice scraper soon.)

(Yeah, sorry. Have only had time for lurking. I'm going to be busy for another day, but then I should be okay.)

Grabbing a nearby sharp bit of rubble, Pops avoids the Warden's charge and latches on to him.

[Battal]

Pops manages to get a few good slices at the heart, but the strikes are completely blocked by the armor.  The Warden throws Pops off himself and snaps the whip.  The burning metal wraps around him, causing agony throughout his body.

[Blewcheese]

Pops swears, backing off slightly. Joseph runs in this time, aiming to dislodge the piece of armor guarding the heart using a rock.

[Battal]

The Warden sidesteps Joseph's charge and sends him flying with the wave of a hand.  Meanwhile, the group becomes aware of a few spectators, including Jakob, who simply watches the group with cold eyes.

[Blewcheese]

Pops glances at the watchers, then sighs inwardly. With a grimace, kicks at the whip in an effort to get it off. Joseph repositioned himself at the arm holding the whip that bound Pops, charging at that.

[Battal]

The Warden chuckles as a stray chain wraps around Joseph's legs, tripping him and making him fall face-first.

 

"At least give me a challenge."

 

The Warden's ball n' chain swings down, crushing Joseph's legs into a horrible pulpy mess.

[Percival]

(OOH, FOUND SOMETHING!

Of course, I'm not sure if these effects apply in the current situation, but eh. I also need permission from Battal. May I?)

(Nothing too overpowered, as I don't think anyone would be able to figure out what to do with said object, but not to weak either...)

Joseph shrieks in pain, desperately trying to crawl leglessly away.

(Well, you're in luck, as we're about to be out of the Soul Trap and out of the crazy part.  The next hundred pages will hopefully be more calmer, as they will be more stealth based than combat based.)

 

The Warden strikes at Joseph again, this time with the chain.  The burning metal wraps around his legs and rips them completely off, basically ruining Joseph's day.  He releases the pulpy messes and turns back to Pops, Starling, and Dark Will, who are now the only ones standing.

(Ruining his day ahahahahaha)

Pops seems relatively unfazed by the gory scene, but a bit of fear can be seen in his eyes. He steps back slowly narrowing his eyes. Meanwhile, Joseph lays there, unconscious.

[Battal]

The Warden laughs, snapping his chain.  "You see yourselves as companions, yet you stand idly by as your compatriots are slaughtered.  You see nothing but your own ends, and you latch on to whoever may help get you there.  You humans are barely more than parasites."
