"Ah, here we are!  This must be the bridge detailed on the map."

The bridge is a decaying mess of wooden boards and ropes.  The ropes serving as handholds are frayed and tangled, and in some places only held on by knots.  The boards are termite eaten, and look more like dust that someone has compacted in an attempt to make wood.  Jakob leans over the edge of the canyon, surveying the rapid waters below.  He then turns around with an "Oh well" face.

"Whelp, I guess that's it.  I'm sure we can find our way to Maxwell ourselves."

"Eh, I'm just joking.  I didn't come this far to be defeated by some measly bridge!"

Jakob jauntily steps onto the bridge, only for the board under his foot to snap.  The bridge makes ominous creaking sounds as Jakob cautiously steps across.

"This is...quite a bit more terrifying than I expected!" he says with a nervous laugh.  With a twang, a rope snaps, and the bridge begins to sway.  It then suddenly tilts to the side.  Jakob desperately tries to balance himself out, but the bridge quickly flips over.  As he is unable to use his hands, he hooks his arm over a rope.  The rope's threads begin to unravel.

"GAHHH!  FLIP THE BRIDGE!  QUICK!

"Flip the... Flip the bridge!" Doing the best he can, he uses his telekinesis to hold a small portion of the bridge up. He cannot do this for very long though, and he is already beginning to sweat. "Someone help him up! I can't hold this bridge much longer!"

Whisp stares at the bridge, leans and pokes it after Jakob climbs back to the ledge.

"maybe I can just quickly run across this. I did it many times on old rotten bridges. But there would always be a few logs that break."

She stands back up and looks forward to see if anything was across the bridge.

"Look closer, its hanging by one rope...and there's no way we could get through those rapids anyways.  The bridge is our only option."

A loud hooting cry echoes from behind the group.  Turning around, they see a myriad of the strange looking tallbirds, their eyes in furious squints.  They charge.

"RUN!"

Unfortunately, there is only an inescapable drop behind them, and the birds are closing in fast on all sides.

"A Myriad?i thought they don't exist!Guards, attack!"

Rabbitfists guardy storm at the Myriad.

(1.was this good written out of your perspective?

2. could you please describe the Myrid a bit? i can't imagine her)

It's good, but...a myriad of tallbirds means there is just a lot of them.   Not a specific one.

The tallbirds eliminate Rabbitfist's guards in seconds, slicing them to ribbons with their razor-sharp beaks.

"Come on, rabbit!  You're going to get yourself killed!"

The group, running out of space to back up, steps slowly onto the bridge.

"On the bridge!  We have to get across or we are going to DIE!"

Jakob blasts a stream of fire at one of the birds with his desiccated hand.  The bird falls twitching to the ground, but it is obviously taking him a lot of effort.

"I'll hold them off, just get to the other side!"
