Her wings began to spark. As they set afire once more, she spread her wings and took off into the air. She flew overhead, back to the main island. Shard used the cloudy skies to her advantage, staying above the clouds to hide herself.

*Jack draws a shadow blade*"Well, this is the end. Oh how John will mourn..."*He does an evil laugh*

Shard looked down from the clouds and saw Jack... and Azreth. She flew up high in the sky, folding her wings to her side. She rolled in the sky, before rolling sideways, preparing a giant fireball.

[Blewcheese]

*Jack, not noticing Shard, positions his shadow blade over Azreth's neck*"You're going to die now!"

Shard silently swooped down, folding her wings in. She shot her largest, most powerful, white-hot fireball right at Jack.

*Jack hears the nearby sizzling of the fireball, and manages to block it with his arms. His arms now seem burned and charred, but he doesn't look pained at all*"Oh, hello again! What did you do with my spear?"

Shard growled. She stared at him, her wings blazing brighter than ever. She rolled on the grass, setting it alight, before getting up and glaring at Jack through the fire.

[Blewcheese]

*Jack summons some shadow hands to snuff out the fire*"Oh, we wouldn't want a forest fire, would we? Now, answer my question."

Shard points to her mouth with her claw. She can't speak human anymore. Probably because of you... or maybe I just don't want to talk anymore. Maybe I can't. She barks, and then snarls.

(I think its better if I kind of stay out of this... no idea what's going on besides that your fighting... don't even know how to join in -_-")

(alright back...  And it is kinda confusing with all the fighting. Soon we should cut that out and have us only attack DS monsters and animals.)

(Yeah, once the characters defeat Jack I'll stop with all those shenanigans.)*Jack surveys Shard*"Looks like you can't talk, huh? Well, you don't seem to have the spear on you now..."*He lashes out at Shard with his blade*

Shard barely got out of the way in time. She slid along the ground, and then shot a rapid chain of fireballs at Jack. She began to get up.

*Jack party's the fireballs with his blade, but they explode into a lot of smoke*"Stop it with the stupid fireballs!"

I guess it's just what I do. she retorts in her mind. Maybe you should fight valiantly too. No more magic. No more spear. No more shadow blades. Just hand to hand combat. No flying either. But you couldn't do that. Without cheating, you would never win. she snaps.

(if you want to lolz she's mostly mad in her head but i think he could understand this once because she's trying to talk to him, but when she's not you can't sooo... he can for this time xD)

(Alright!)"No spear, huh? You really are clueless."*He puts away his blades*"Fine! But you still don't know how to kill me."

Shard lets her wings disappear. She gets up, standing defensively. She snarls.
