no anim.bin files in beard.zip

im trying to add a beard to a character mod but when i extract it theres only the tex and build.bin. i have no clue where to get only the beard's anim.bin and im trying to follow this guide. this is killin me brah, i've never made a mod before so explain it to me like i was born yesterday

Beards aren't their own things with their own animations. They're part of players.
When something's missing an 'anim', that means its using the animations of something else entirely.
Beards are... part of players. So therefore you'd want to use any of the player 'anims', and preferably a player build to use an basis.

ahhh i was lead astray by the guide it seems, it is a bit dated. Im still struggling like crazy to get this mod to work out, but ive got it functioning and just need to iron out the little creases. Thank you!!
